  • The Thrive on Wellness project started as a partnership with Alberta Health Services and their grant funding themed “Healthy Food for All in St. Paul”.
  • This initiative involved a number of projects that have involved locally grown food, encouraging food security in the community and getting people to think about healthier options in the food they choose to purchase and consume.
  • Projects included: Community Garden – now own society, Canning Course, Small Space Gardening, Harvest of the Forest Course, Chili Cook Off, Healthy Snack Presentation, Seed Saving Workshop, Collective Kitchen, Food Preservation Course, Gardening Workshops, Healthier Options Food Trials, Salid In A Jar Presentations, Raised garden beds, Displays at Health & Wellness Fair, Incredible Edible Barrels – partnership with Town of St. Paul.
